This event will utilize community seating. Due to the nature of this event, menu preferences and dietary restrictions cannot be accommodated. There will be a vegan menu option available. **Dress comfortably for this event, we will be outdoors for portions on the evening. Costumes are welcome!
**In the event of another unforeseen shutdown, all events will be rescheduled as quickly as possible, and all ticket holders will have the option to attend the rescheduled event, or receive a 100% refund in the form of a Whitney Gift Card for future use. No Cash Refunds.

Thanksgiving Parade Brunch
Everybody loves a parade, especially Detroit’s annual Thanksgiving Parade! Enter The Whitney, Detroit’s “home for the holidays” where a roaring fire welcomes visitors and an all-inclusive, all-you-can-eat brunch, including champagne, mimosas, bloody marys and all non-alcoholic drinks. Warms me up just thinking about it. Whether you’re nine or ninety, there’s something for everyone!
The Whitney Thanksgiving brunch includes parade seating along Woodward Avenue, including hot chocolate or coffee delivered directly to your seat. Brunch seating will be at community tables upon arrival. Please arrive between 7:00-7:30 Brunch Service will begin at 7:30 (All access roads to The Whitney are closed at 7:30am.). Our staff will be serving Brunch from the Buffet this year to provide a healthier experience. Please be aware that that all Parade viewing is outdoors, guests must exit the building during the Parade.
The price includes valet parking, brunch with community seating, parade seats, tax and gratuity along with a “Goodie Box” and special surprise gift to be enjoyed while watching the parade. Tickets are on sale soon ... $149 for adults and $99 for kids 10 and under, please note that there is a $4 processing fee added to all tickets, all guests require a ticket.
Due to the nature of this event, tickets cannot be purchased with Gift Cards, Trade First or promotional vouchers. Please review the menu, substitutions and menu accommodations are not available for this event.
Our Thanksgiving Parade Brunch sells out quickly, so we encourage you to reserve your spot today. We look forward to seeing you as Santa makes his first appearance of 2021 at Detroit’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! Tickets are available online only.

Matinee and Evening Performances
The Nutcracker
Scurrying mice, prancing dancers, pirouetting snowflakes and the Nutcracker Prince take over The Whitney when the Southeastern Michigan Classical Ballet stages the holiday classic The Nutcracker, Nov. 18th & 19th. But rather than performing on stage, the cast of 20 acts out the Christmas classic within the rooms of Detroit’s landmark 1894 mansion.
The evening begins with a four-course dinner on The Whitney’s third floor. Then guests head downstairs to follow the action and the performers as they play out The Nutcracker’s scenes in rooms within The Whitney’s first and second floors. The ornate 19th-century Romanesque Revival mansion plays an important role in the story, too, filling in for the Stahlbaum family home.
Enjoy strawberries and champagne at intermission, and dessert and cordials (as well as a meet-and-greet with the cast) after the show. nutcrackeratthewhitney.weebly.com
